About the role

This role offers a front-row seat to shaping the production infrastructure that will power the next generation of AI builders and define how AI systems are built and scaled in the real world.

As a Technical Product Manager at Maxim, you’ll shape the end-to-end experience across our AI agent infrastructure - spanning gateway and governance, observability, and evaluations. You’ll work at the intersection of AI development, developer tooling, and UX design, collaborating closely with engineering to translate deep technical workflows into intuitive product experiences. You will partner closely with the founders and customers to define the vision, plan the roadmap, and drive execution end to end.

Responsibilities

• Own problem discovery and user research in the evolving AI development space, building strong product opinions on the highest-leverage problems to solve.
• Engage deeply with customers to understand real-world usage, feedback, and constraints, and turn those insights into concrete product direction.
• Translate ambiguous user needs into clear product requirements and work closely with design peers to turn these into intuitive, scalable UX.
• Own execution of the product roadmap with engineering, spanning large 0–1 bets, core platform investments, and incremental improvements.
• Define and own success metrics for product quality and performance using them as a continuous feedback loop for iteration.
• Partner with GTM teams to communicate launches with crisp positioning, clear value propositions, and strong customer alignment.

About You

• You have built and scaled a developer-focused product.
• You have 3-4 years of product management experience in a fast-moving start-up and have owned outcomes end-to-end.
• You thrive in ambiguous spaces and take ownership to break down complex problems instead of needing clear structure handed to you.
• You stay on top of everything. Nothing falls through the cracks because you're tracking it, following up, and closing loops consistently.
• You're sharp and articulate. You communicate clearly in writing and conversation, and can align founders, team members, and external stakeholders without losing clarity.
• You have extreme attention to detail and a high regard for precision, but also see the bigger picture. You sweat the small stuff while understanding how it connects to revenue, risk, and long-term business outcomes.
• You are comfortable operating with (often uncomfortable) speed and urgency.
• You use AI tools extensively in your day-to-day work to drive better outcomes.
